Little boy, you’re a man, little man, you’re a king.
Wow, I’m really on the theater beat today—I’ve been writing about a Broadway star this weekend and these things are just coming to me through osmosis. Anyway, LOOK:
“A casting call reveals that the Broadway revival of West Side Story, to be directed by the show’s librettist, Arthur Laurents, will begin previews on Broadway in early Feb 2009, at a theatre to be announced. Joey McKneely will recreate Jerome Robbins’s original choreography. (Robbins died in 1998.)”
Um, Arthur Laurents wrote that ish and will direct it again at 90 YEARS OLD. Some people are just exceptional.
