End of ‘09 thought, #43984: I saw about 35 plays/musicals this year and about 60 movies, for a combination of work and pleasure, but I found nothing more pleasing, performance and writing-wise, as Annie Baker’s Circle Mirror Transformation, now extended in NYC through January. Get off your ass and see a play, you can do it, I know you can. It’s $50, but you can budget it in if you want to see something that will own your brain and feelings for a week, but in a subtle, trickling, elegant way. It won’t knock you out or make you feel deceived, just lucky.
