Currently: I am working on a book about F. Scott Fitzgerald, Sheilah Graham, and Hollywood in the 1930s. It will also contain a lot of drinking, powder blue suits, dances at the Cocoanut Grove, gossip columns, crazy ladies, secret Jews, film lot moguls, and Dorothy Parker quips at funerals. If the world is still around then, it should be out from Random House around 2014. So let's hope the Mayans were wrong.

not that this is remotely interesting but i am STILL in transit.
total delays at this point = 7.5 hrs
time spent on the runway = 1.25 hrs
questionable airport banana smoothies consumed= 1
getting to experience the disorganized underbelly of american air travel = priceless
Also, overheard on flight 1396: “Wait, are we in Illinois? I thought Chicago was its own state.” God help us all.
