As far as fashion blawgs go, I can never read enough—I am like a very grown Eloise and I absolutely must must must look at pretty things every day and oh my lord—but Jane from Sea of Shoes has been really killing it lately. It’s not only the fact that she lives in Texas and has a ton of desert/green outdoor spots to frolic in and create her own photo shoots with, but her pictures are always so dreamy and full of promise, and you can tell she just really loves this stuff and derives meaning from it. And no matter what the actual objects are that bring a person to that point—in this case, shoes and baubles—it’s a refreshing thing to see—the commitment to a style, a point of view, an aesthetic decision made and nurtured and then endlessly pursued.
